Hello and welcome to my blog!

My name is Rebecca Malcolm and I'm a married mother of two incredible kids.

Two years ago I chose to start a home business to begin creating a solid income source to help secure my family's financial future all while continuing to be home for my children.

I strive everyday to be a positive influence to those I come in contact with. Some days this comes so easily while others it may take a conscious effort.

Part of staying positive is surrounding yourself with other positive people. I've been so blessed with being surrounded everyday with the most positive, inspiring women and I hope that with this blog I can be a positive, inspiration and bring some value to you!

6 Key Priciples to Help Turn Problems into Opportunites

Thought I would share some training from the incredible leaders on our team.

1. Re-perceive how you perceive the problems
  • Train your mind to see the opportunity
  • What is the opportunity here?
There is an opportunity with in every problem. Learn to identify them!

2. Reinvent how you respond to things
  • Choose your words carefully
  • Pay attention to how your words affect other people
  • Deal with objections with questions....stop "telling"
People do not like to be "told"! When a problem arises, work together on resolving the problem. People respond much better when they feel they are part of the resolution instead of being told how to fix it.

3. Live and work in a bubble~stay laser focused!

I believe that this is one of the biggest problems people face in their business. There are so many distractions that life throws at us. We need to learn to identify those distractions and push them to the side because they never help us accomplish our goals, they only slow us down.

4. Take the long view, do not take shortcuts.

"If you find yourself in a chronically leaky boat, energy devoted to switching vessels is likely to be more productive than energy devoted to patching leaks." ~Warren Buffett.

5. Take more risks, not less

Step outside your comfort zone. If you are not willing to take a risk, you will not live up to your potential.

6. It starts with you!

You can not expect others to do what you are not willing to. If you see a need for change, begin that change yourself, others will follow.

To Your Success,

R.M.
